Friends Of Bethany

"Friends of Bethany(FOB) participated in the Cantor Fitzgerald Celebrity Charity Day in New York, NY.   This event is put on by Cantor Fitzgerald, a global trading firm, to honor the victims of 9/11 and their families.  Each year, charities send celebrity ambassadors to represent their cause and help close trades at their NY offices.  All the profit from the day’s trades is divided among the charities represented and given to them as a donation. Friends of Bethany participated last year (2011) for this first time and were honored to receive an invite back this year.   Bethany Hamilton and model/fashion blogger Lauren Scruggs attended the event in Manhattan to represent FOB, and were accompanied by FOB Executive Director, Katie Ancheta.  It was wonderful to have Lauren representing FOB, as we had reached out to her with an encouragement packet and had been praying for her after she lost her left arm and left eye in an accident late last year." - FOBH NOT MY WORDS.
